Located in Lexington, Oregon, Neiffer Ranch Poultry Processing helps farmers, homesteaders, and 4-H/FFA youth process birds with care, while turning waste into fertilizer. Our mission is simple: Keep food local, keep farms thriving, and keep the land healthy.
What We Do
We process chickens and turkeys to start, with ducks, geese, and rabbits coming soon. Everything are rooted in regenerative agriculture — no waste, no shortcuts.

2025: From dream to reality. We built Neiffer Ranch Poultry Processing with grit, perseverance, and a whole lot of trial and error. Now, we’re one of Oregon’s few public poultry processors, helping small farms thrive while keeping waste out of the landfill.

The Beginning
Learn More About Us2016: We took a leap. After years of running farmers markets, websites, and buying clubs since 2010 for Neiffer Ranch Grass-Fed Beef, we made the move to the ranch to raise our boys. Jake grew up with cows and pigs, but for Lara — a California girl — this was a whole new adventure.
Whole Bird Processing – Local & No Waste
Bring your birds to us for ODA-licensed, whole bird processing — scalded, plucked, eviscerated, and shrink-wrapped, ready for the freezer. $6 per bird for Cornish Cross. Hens and other breeds are processed at a different rate. Keep it local, sustainable, and simple! We compost all waste to recycle nutrients back into the land — because nothing goes to waste here.
